description abstract	Intended Use: The flanges covered by this specification sheet are intended to provide anchorage for a cylinder protective cap to the shoulder of a cylinder. The flanges are attached to the cylinder by welding of similar metals and are for low pressure application. The flange provides inlet valve threads for cylinder valves and when required, threaded holes for cylinder safety devices for acetylene.
