description abstract | This specification covers the requirements for permeable cotton cloth. The cloth shall be of the following types and classes as specified (see 6.2): Type I - 5.2 ounces Class 1 - Dyed Class 2 - Natural, flame resistant and mildew resistant treated. Class 3 - Bleached white Type II - 6.0 ounces Class 1 - Dyed Class 3 - Bleached white Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be used in improving this document should be addressed to: U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Natick, MA 01760-5014 by using the Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter. Intended Use: The types I and II, classes 1 and 3 cloths are intended for use in clothing and mittens. Type I, class 2 cloth is intended for use in tent liners. | |
