description abstractDescription of Driving Event:
An employee fell through a section of raised flooring that collapsed, suffering knee and back injuries. The ensuing investigation revealed that the floor tile support cross members were not properly positioned on the floor support stanchions. The floor tile support cross member slipped off of the floor support stringer because the pedestals cap in use was the incorrect type.
