description abstractThis Standard specifies an atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the copper content in iron and steel. The method is applicable to copper contents (mass fraction) of 0.003% or over up to and including 1.0 %.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 4943: 1985 Steel and cast iron-Determination of copper contentFlame atomic absorption spectrometric method (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ lEC Guide 21-1.
