description abstractThis Standard specifies a test method for the determination of the air-purification performance of photocatalytic materials that contain a photocatalyst on the surface of construction materials or other materials. Among test methods as described above, this Standard specifically deals with the test method of removal of nitric oxide [NOx, total of nitrogen monoxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2)].
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 22197-1: 2007 Fine ceramics (advanced ceramics, advanced technical ceramics)—Test method for air-purification performance of semiconducting photocatalytic materials—Part 1: Removal of nitric oxide (MOD)
The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between JIS and the corresponding International Standard are IDT (identical), MOD (modified) and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
