description abstract	This Standard specifies the definitions, classification and requirements concerning the pressboard for electrical purposes (hereafter referred to as "pressboard") and presspaper for electrical purposes (hereafter referred to as "presspaper"). NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows: lEC 60641-1: 2007 Specification for pressboard and presspaper for electrical purposes-Part 1: Definitions and general requirements (MOD) The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21-1.
