Abstract

Facts The Committee on Hazardous Chemicals notes the following errors in the 2019 edition of NFPA 400, Hazardous Materials Code. b Maximum quantities are permitted to be increased 100 percent in buildings equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13. If the material is stored in an approved cabinet in accordance with this code, the MAQ will increase to 250 lb (113 kg) (footnote ca). If the building is equipped throughout with an automatic sprinkler system in accordance with NFPA 13, the MAQ will increase to 250 lb (113 kg) (footnote db).
