| description abstract | This standard shall apply to facilities that use flammable and combustible liquids, as herein defined, to manufacture organic coatings for automotive, industrial, institutional, household, marine, printing, transportation, and other applications. This standard shall not apply to the following: (1)* Operations involving the use or application of coating materials (2)* Storage of organic coatings in locations other than the manufacturing facility Purpose. The purpose of this standard shall be to provide minimum requirements for safety to life and property from fire and explosion in facilities and processes that manufacture organic coatings. | |
