description abstractThis specification covers electric nut runner and screwdrivers for tightening nuts, screws and bolts to operate selected, uniform torque (see 6.1). Intended Use: The nut runner and screwdriver described in this specification is intended for use in assembly and disassembly operations involving the tightening or loosening of nuts, screws, and bolts of sizes specified in table I. Proper torque setting is obtained by use of a torque measuring machine. Torque setting may also be accomplished by adjusting the nut runner so that loosening torque (measured by a hand torque wrench) is the same for an assembly tightened by the nut runner as when tightened by a hand torque wrench. The nut runner is furnished in three sizes as shown in figure 1.
