description abstract | This specification covers the testing of cabin pressurizing and air conditioning systems as installed in aircraft to demonstrate safety and satisfactory performance of the installation. The procedures outlined herein shall be followed, as applicable, for the testing of pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft. Intended Use: -This specification covers the testing of cabin pressurizing and air conditioning systems as installed in aircraft, including defogging and defrosting, for the purpose of: (a) Demonstrating safety of the installation. (b) Demonstrating performance of the installation. (1) Aircraft duct and distribution systems. (2) System capacities. (3) Defogging and defrosting systems. (4) Individual components and equipment items. (c) Obtaining data for future design. PATENT NOTICE.-When Government drawings, specifications, or other data are used for any purpose other than in connection with a definitely related Government procurement operation, the United States Government thereby incurs no responsibility nor any obligation whatsoever; and the fact that the Government may have formulated, furnished, or in any way supplied the said drawings, specifications, or other data is not to be regarded by implication or otherwise as in any manner licensing the holder or any other person or corporation, or conveying any rights or permission to manufacture, use, or sell any patented invention that may in any way be related thereto. | |
