description abstractThis specification covers process requirements for a heat-resistant ceramic coating as used on internal combustion engine exhaust pipes, mufflers, stacks and related parts, and on low carbon steel items, where protection from heat, corrosion, oxidation, and gases is required. Intended Use: The material specified herein, when applied to exhaust pipes, mufflers, stacks, heat exchanger parts, and similar related items, shall provide heat, corrosion, oxidation and thermal shock resistance to the treated parts.
