description abstract	This specification covers alternating current (ac) fractional horsepower miniature blowers having specific environmental characteristics required for cooling communication, special military equipment, and other electronic equipment. The blowers described herein shall be capable of withstanding extreme service and environmental conditions such as shock, high temperature, low temperature, vibration, humidity and fungus. Intended Use: The blowers are used for cooling communication, special military equipment, and other electronic equipment. The packaging requirements specified herein apply only for direct Government acquisitions. The packaging provisions of the referenced documents listed in section 2 do not apply unless specifically stated in the contract or purchase order. The packaging requirements for blowers acquired by contractors shall be specified in the individual order.
