Abstract: PURPOSE
The purpose of this Marshall Procedural Requirements (MPR) is to provide general procedures and requirements for the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Environmental Management Program.
This MPR defines and establishes the responsibilities of the Environmental Engineering and Occupational Health (EEOH) Office and MSFC user organizations for managing and conducting environmental activities. The MSFC environment includes the soil, water, air, and natural habitat within and around MSFC boundaries.
This MPR also ensures the cooperation and support of all MSFC user organizations in an effort to achieve the environmental goals of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and MSFC and to meet Federal, State, and local environmental regulatory requirements.
APPLICABILITY
This MPR applies to the personnel, programs, projects, and activities at MSFC including contractors and resident agencies to the extent specified in their respective contracts or agreements. ("Contractors," for purposes of this paragraph, include contractors, grantees, Cooperative Agreement recipients, Space Act Agreement partners, or other agreement parties.) This MPR is not applicable to the Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF).
