Abstract: The scope of this document is limited to the performance specification for the four motors of the Urine Processor Assembly (UPA), which is an element of the Water Recovery System (WRS) for the International Space Station.

The purpose of this document is to establish the design, performance, safety, verification and interface requirements for the UPA's four motors, hereafter referred to as Motor 1 (M1), Motor 2 (M2), Motor 3 (M3), and actuator (M4).
