description abstract	This specification covers uninsulated, security filing cabinets which are designed to conform to the standards for physical security as set forth in the Information Security Oversight Office Directive No. 1, governing the classification, declassification, downgrading and safeguarding of national security information. The cabinets provide protection against unauthorized entry for the period of time specified in 1.2.1. Intended Use: The filing cabinets under this specification are intended for filing and storing of classified drawings, maps, plans, film, recording tapes, and other classified items of sizes or configurations which preclude their storage in drawer type filing cabinets. The class 6, size III cabinets are intended to be used to house equipment that may generate some heat and air circulation may be desired.
