CLOTH, TWILL, POLYESTER/COTTON (DURABLE PRESS)

Abstract: This specification covers blended polyester and cotton cloth, chemically treated with a durable press finish, for manufacturing durable press uniforms.
The cloth covered by this specification shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I for dress uniforms (postcured resin application)
Type II for utility uniforms
Intended Use: The type I cloth is intended for use in durable press dress uniforms. The type II, class 1 cloth is intended for use in durable press utility uniforms (fatigues). The type II, class 2 cloth is to be used as the base cloth for embroidered insignia, MIL-I-3037, and the type II, class 3 is to be used in the manufacture of Cap, Hot Weather, Olive Green 106, MIL-C-43724.
