Abstract: This specification sheet covers the requirements unique to the Mk 16 Mod 1 Rocket Catapult, Loaded Assembly (see 6.1). Intended Use: The Mk 16 Mod 1 Rocket Catapult is used to eject the pilot from the TA-4J, S-3B, and ES-3A aircraft. As the A-4E/L aircraft is a military aircraft, there is no commercial application for the MK 16 Mod 1 Rocket Catapult.
