Abstract: This specification covers depleted uranium tetrafluoride (UF4) which is intended to be reduced to depleted uranium metal for ordnance use. Intended Use: The UF4 ordered to this specification is intended for use in reduction to depleted uranium metal of high purity which will be subsequently melted to produce a uranium alloy of specified purity for ordnance use.
