Abstract: AIM
The aim of this agreement is to standardize, for the use of the NATO Armed Forces, the characteristics of links for disintegrating belts for use with NATO 7.62 mm cartridges as prescribed in STANAG 2310. These are necessary to ensure adequate interchangeability of disintegrating belts between belt fed automatic weapons of 7.62 mm calibre, when used operationally.
