Abstract: Ten representative weapon yields and a wide range of targets have been included in this publication for use by personnel of land, air, and naval forces in a wide variety of situations.
The data and procedures in this publication have been kept as simple as possible in order to facilitate field use. While in some respects, the data in this publication are similar in appearance to data used by target analysts concerned with offensive weapons employment, these data are not suitable for such use and must not be used for weapon employment purposes.
PURPOSE
This publication provides, for exercises and training, simplified nuclear casualty and damage data and procedures for use in making an assessment of the probable results of an enemy nuclear attack on friendly targets.
