TITANIUM ALLOY: HIGH STRENGTH, WROUGHT (FOR CRITICAL COMPONENTS)

Abstract: This specification covers high strength wrought titanium alloys, in annealed or heat treated shapes, having a critical section thickness of one-quarter to two and one-half inches, for critical components other than armor, such as tubes, chambers, and nozzles (see 6.3.1). Intended Use: The high strength wrought titanium alloys in annealed or heat treated shapes covered by this specification are military unique. This material is suitable for critical components such as tubes, chambers, and nozzles.
