Abstract: This specification establishes the requirements for hydrochlorofluorocarbon-(HCFC)-225, the mixture of 3,3-dichloro-1,1,1,2,2-pentafluoropropane, HCFC-225 ca isomer, (45±5 wt%) and 1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane, HCFC-225 cb isomer, (55±5 wt%). Intended Use: The solvent described in this specification is intended for use as a precision cleaning fluid for spaceflight hardware and related ground support equipment, their interfaces, and any other systems in which it may be used to clean.
