Abstract: This standard establishes the minimum design requirements for electrical control and monitoring systems, ground support equipment (GSE), and panels that support processing systems both automated (e.g., Launch Control System [LCS]) and manual. This standard does not apply to the design requirements of institutional-type systems and equipment.Intended Use: This standard is intended to be used in the establishment of uniform engineering practices and methods to ensure the inclusion of essential requirements in the design of electrical control and monitoring equipment used to support the test, checkout, service, and launch of space vehicles and payloads at KSC.
