Abstract: This specification covers the general requirements for the design, development and preproduction testing of Linear Shaped Charge (LSC) Assemblies to be utilized for Aircrew Escape Systems. A shaped-Charge Assembly conists of a length of linear shaped charge supported by a housing (retainer) two booster tips (one at each end), and such fittings as are needed for attaching to other explosive assemblies. Intended Use: The assemblies covered by this specification are intended for use in the Emergency Escape System of Aircraft.
