HARNESSES, PARACHUTIST'S INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT PACK ("H"-TYPE)

Abstract: This specification covers one type of general purpose harness, having an "H" design and made of nylon webbing. The harness is equipped with quick-fit adapters, buckles and snaps to secure it around the load and to a parachute harness worn by the parachutist. Intended Use: The harness is intended for use by individual parachutists for securing individual combat equipment during airborne jump operations. The harness with the secured load is attached to the parachutist\'s harness D-rings with the attaching strap snaps.
