The tanker has a 6x4 chassis with a diesel engine and an automatic transmission; a two person cab with two doors; a 4,000 gallon water tank; a 1,250 gallon per minute (gpm) fire pump; equipment compartments; and hose. The water tanker truck is intended to: store and transport water over paved roads, gravel roads, or unimproved surfaces, and draft, pump, and transfer water in support of brush, structural, and aircraft fire fighting vehicles.
