Abstract: This specification covers the principal shapes and dimensions, and mechanical requirements for the manufacture of two types of individually dogged watertight, gastight/airtight, and weathertight doors of steel, aluminum, and glass-reinforced plastic construction. These doors, which shall be complete with frames, are built for access through bulkheads by marine personnel, and are intended to maintain the structural and tightness integrity of the bulkheads.
