Abstract: This Standard covers the requirements for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, nonpolarized, sealed in plastic or aluminum cases, which are for intermittent service starting single phase alternating current induction motors. The capacitors are rated for service in 50 Hz and 60 Hz circuits and may be operated in ambient temperatures shown in 3.4.
