DISCHARGE REVIEW BOARD (DRB) PROCEDURES AND STANDARDS

Abstract: REISSUANCE AND PURPOSE. This Instruction:
Issues uniform procedures and standards for the review of discharges under the authority of reference (a), reference (b), and reference (c).
Provides for public inspection, searching, and downloading of DRB decisional documents through the DoD Boards' Electronic Reading Room.
APPLICABILITY. The provisions of this Instruction apply to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Military Departments, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Combatant Commands, the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Defense (DoD IG), the Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities in the Department of Defense (hereinafter referred to as the "DoD Components").
