Abstract: This document provides guidance and criteria for the design of child development centers (CDCs). This guidance and criteria should be used to design CDCs within statutory cost limitations in conformance with DOD criteria. Renovation projects should update existing facilities to meet as nearly as practicable the guidance and criteria within budgetary constraints.
