Abstract: —This specification covers rectangular frame, refrigerator car dolly trucks, equipped with 24 load wheels and 4 steer wheels. Refrigerator car dolly trucks are used for manual movement of pallet loads of material over smooth, rough or slatted floors for short distances, where maneuverability and rugged design are required to insure safe, efficient, and economical operation under extended service conditions. Intended Use: —Refrigerator car dollies described herein are intended for moving pallet loads of material, which do not exceed 2,500 pounds for type I, or 4,000 pounds for type II over smooth, rough or slatted floors, for short distances. Refrigerator car dollies are primarily for use, in loading and unloading railroad cars but can be used wherever regular pallet dollies are required.
