Abstract: This commercial item description (CID) covers the requirements for pneumatic-tired, diesel engine driven, "DS" safety rated, rough terrain forklift trucks for use on board marine (shipboard) vessels.
Each type of truck described herein is intended to be used aboard marine vessels for the purpose of stacking, unstacking, and transporting palletized loads, some of which may consist of ordnance.
