Enterprise-Control System Integration − Part 4: Objects and attributes for manufacturing operations management integration
Organization:
ISA - International Society of Automation
Year: 2012
Abstract: This ISA-95 Part 4 standard, in conjunction with ANSI/ISA-95.00.03-2005, Enterprise-Control System Integration–Part 3: Activity Models of Manufacturing Operations Management, specifies interface content between manufacturing operations management categories and activities. The interfaces considered are the interfaces across and within Level 3 categories of the functional hierarchical model defined in the ISA-95 Part 1 standard (see Clause 2 below). The goal is to reduce the risk, cost, and errors associated with implementing these interfaces.
The scope of Part 4 is limited to the definition of object models and attributes exchanged between activities defined in Part 3. Interfaces within Level 2, and Level 3 to Level 2, are out of scope. Interfaces with Level 4 are defined in the ISA-95 Part 2 standard.
