Abstract: This specification covers the performance and acceptance requirements for an insulated case for the 5-gallon military water can (see 6.1). Intended Use: The insulated case is primarily for use in cold climates, for the 5-gallon water can to keep water from freezing. The case and 5-gallon water can may also be used for transporting warm food, coffee or other supplies to troops in the field.
