Abstract: This specification covers barium nitrate for use in the manufacture of propellants and for other Ordnance applications.

Class 4 - for use in the manufacture of special compositions. Class 5 - for use in the manufacture of incendiary mixtures. Class 6 - for use in the manufacture of pyrotechnic compositions.
