| description abstract | The equipment covered by this specification shall utilize sensor inputs described herein and provide simultaneous inertial and dead reckoning navigation solutions in both a Geographical and a Tactical mode. The set shall also provide for the processing and display of a stabilized plot of selected markers. * COMMENTS OR RECOMMENDATIONS WHICH MAY BE OF USE IN IMPROVING THIS DOCUMENT MAY BE SENT TO THE PREPARING ACTIVITY WHEN A SELF-ADDRESSED STANDARDIZATION DOCUMENT IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL (DD FORM 1426) APPEARS AT THE END OF THIS DOCUMENT, OR BY LETTER ADDRESSED TO THE COGNIZANT ACTIVITY. The equipment covered by this shall consist of the following items: The equipment shall operate to the requirements of this specification with the associated equipment listed in Paragraph 6.8. Intended Use: The System, when interfaced with the associated equipment of Paragraph 6.8 shall provide the P-3B aircraft and crew tactical plot stabilization of selected markers, geographic navigation, and display of tactical and sensor data. | |
