Abstract

The equipment covered by this specification shall utilize sensor inputs described herein and provide simultaneous inertial and dead reckoning navigation solutions in both a Geographical and a Tactical mode. The set shall also provide for the processing and display of a stabilized plot of selected markers. <strong>* COMMENTS OR RECOMMENDATIONS WHICH MAY BE OF USE IN IMPROVING THIS DOCUMENT MAY BE SENT TO THE PREPARING ACTIVITY WHEN A SELF-ADDRESSED STANDARDIZATION DOCUMENT IMPROVEMENT PROPOSAL (DD FORM 1426) APPEARS AT THE END OF THIS DOCUMENT, OR BY LETTER ADDRESSED TO THE COGNIZANT ACTIVITY.</strong> <br>The equipment covered by this shall consist of the following items: <a><img alt="TABLE" /></a> <br>The equipment shall operate to the requirements of this specification with the associated equipment listed in Paragraph <a>6.8</a>. <b><u>Intended Use:</u></b> The System, when interfaced with the associated equipment of Paragraph 6.8 shall provide the P-3B aircraft and crew tactical plot stabilization of selected markers, geographic navigation, and display of tactical and sensor data. <br>
