Abstract: Recommendation ITU-T Y.3300 (Framework of software-defined networking) describes fundamentals of SDN including the definitions, objectives, high-level capabilities, requirements, and the high-level architecture of SDN. Based on Y.3300, this Recommendation describes functional requirements of SDN including general requirements and functional requirements of SDN application layer, SDN control layer, SDN resource layer and multi-layer management functions.
