Abstract: This specification covers the design, materials and fabrication of a materials handling pallet for storing 55 gallon drums in the horizontal position. Intended Use: The pallet described herein is intended for the handling operation of 55-gallon drums. Each pallet will allow four 55-gallon drums to be placed on their sides. Pallets may be used for long term storage in both covered and uncovered area.
