Abstract: This specification covers requirements for two types and three classes of aromatic polyamide cloth.
The aromatic polyamide cloth shall be of the following types and classes, as specified (see 6.2).
Intended Use: The cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of parachute canopies, packs, and pack stiffeners.
The aromatic polyamide cloth shall be of the following types and classes, as specified (see 6.2).
Type I, class 1 - 4.7 oz. Type I, class 2 - 6.5 oz. Type I, class 3 - 12.0 oz. Type II, class 1 - 7.0 oz. Type II, class 2 - 18.0 oz., resin treated
Intended Use: The cloth is intended for use in the manufacture of parachute canopies, packs, and pack stiffeners.
