Abstract: Intended Use: Types A and B dial indicators with accessories are used principally on inspection fixtures and for aligning work pieces on machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, etc. Type C dial indicators are intended for centering and aligning work pieces on machine tools such as jig borers, lathes, boring mills, etc; and also checking dimensions between surfaces, center line of holes and keyways and runout shafts in inspection work.
