Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for the procurement of integral O-ring, self-sealing machine screws including self-locking screws referred to herein as assembled screws.Intended Use: Integral O-ring, self-sealing, CRES machine screws are intended for use in assembling machined parts so as to provide a leakproof seal against some oils and fresh or salt water at temperatures to 93.5 °C (200 °F) and pressures to 1,000 PSIG.
