Abstract: —This specification covers personnel safety pallets fabricated from structural steel shapes. Pallets, in conjunction with fork lift trucks, are for use in stocking or picking from high racks and bins, or for maintenance work in inaccessible locations, where rugged design is required to insure safe, efficient, and economical operation under extended service conditions. Intended Use: —Type I personnel safety pallets described here in are intended for use in conjunction with fork lift trucks to permit maintenance personnel to work in elevated locations which otherwise would be inaccessible. Type II personnel safety pallets described herein are intended for the same purpose, as well as for elevating stock pickers or replenishers, together with a pallet, to reach otherwise inaccessible shelf or bin areas.
