Abstract: This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the beds for domestic use 1) (hereafter referred to as beds). This Standard does not cover beds with special functions or structures, such as cribs, sofa beds, bunk beds, adjustable beds, etc. Note 1) The beds for domestic use in this Standard mean those beds consisting of a mattress used for sleeping and a bed frame that supports the mattress.
