ECA IS-753
Two-Part High Density Blade and Backplane Tuning Fork Connecto
Organization:
ECIA - Electronic Components Industry Association
Year: 1998
Abstract: This specification provides the engineering and performance requirements for a family of high density blade-and-tuning fork contact printed wiring board (PWB) connectors of assessed quality designed for use in electronic and electrical equipment. It shall be used in conjunction with the basic specification EIA-3 64 Electrical Connector Test Procedures, which documents test procedures and test sequences.
These connectors are not intended for applications at frequencies exceeding 3 MHz, except in applications such as high speed digital logic. The special requirements and tests for these high speed applications and other required test procedures not provided in EIA-364 are specified in 4 of this specification.
Both the male (module) connectors and the mating female (backplane) connector are included in this specification.
