Abstract: The materials listed in this catalogue have been delineated by country and within each country partitioned into groups such as artillery, mortar, tank, grenade, smoke pot, recoilless gun/rifle, vehicle-mounted grenade, etc. For most items there is a illustration or photograph which accompanies the description. As part of each smoke material's description, is the nomenclature, the spectral band(s) (as shown in the table below) the smoke attenuates (smoke that are effective in the "visual" band are also effective in the some of the near-infrared spectral region with the limit occurring between 1.0 and 1.5 um), the manufacturer, a system description, the components that make up the system, a packing description and an environmental and human toxicity statement.
