Abstract: This specification covers the requirements for a mummy shaped, arctic survival sleeping bag used in cold weather aircraft survival kits. The pressure/vacuum packed sleeping bags are available in one size, 12 × 12 × 1-½ inches with a+⅛ inch tolerance. Intended Use: The vacuum packed sleeping bag is intended for installation in the seat survival kit which is an integral part of the aircraft ejection seat system.
