VALVE, PRESSURE EQUALIZING, GASEOUS PRODUCTS
Year: 2008
Abstract: This specification covers low pressure equalizing, gaseous product valves for use in shipping containers.Intended Use: The air relief valves covered by this specification are intended for use in shipping containers as a protective device against excessive internal pressure or vacuum resulting from air lift or extreme temperature changes. Types I and II valves are intended to be used in sets of one of each type where a separation of the pressure and vacuum relief ports may be desirable. Type III valves are intended to be used where separation of pressure and vacuum relief ports is not desirable or required.
Subject: Valve leakage
