MIL-M-28905A
MOTOR-GENERATOR: 10 KW
Organization:
NAVY - MC - United States Marine Corps
Year: 1973
Abstract: This specification covers one type motor-generator for converting 60-hertz (Hz) power to 400-Hz power. The motor input current is to be 3 phase, 416/208 volt (V), 60 Hz, 4 wire, and the alternator output is to be 10 kilowatts (kW), 0.8 power factor (pf) lagging, 400 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire 120/208 V, reconnectible to 240/416 V. Intended Use: The motor-generators are intended to supply power for weapons systems and other communications-electronics applications that require stable, well-regulated, 400-Hz electrical power from a 60-Hz power souce.
