Abstract: This specification covers hydraulic filter elements for the H-60 series helicopter. This specification describes:
(1) a multi-pass filtration performance test under cyclic flow and vibration conditions with continuous contaminant injection for hydraulic fluid power filter elements;
(2) a procedure for determining the contaminant capacity, particulate removal and differential pressure characteristics; and
(3) specific changes, revisions, and modifications to paragraphs of Military Specification MIF-F-8815D.Intended Use: This slash sheet is to be used in conjunction with MIL-F-8815 to procure noncleanable, fluid pressure, hydraulic filter elements for H-60 aircraft.
